Site knowledge and first-hand answers
The facts Seovyn reads from your own pages, the notes only your team can add, and the questions it asks you, and how they keep articles accurate and make them yours.
An article is only as good as what it knows. Site knowledge, on the Publishing page, is what Seovyn knows first-hand about your business. Every article gets the facts that fit its topic, and the quality check flags any claim about your product that doesn't match them.
Facts from your site
Within an hour of adding your website, Seovyn reads your pricing, product and about pages and keeps the facts it finds: plans and prices, features and limits. It reads them again every week, so a price change on your site reaches your next article. Re-read site does it now.
If a fact is wrong or out of date, choose Remove this fact: it won't be used again.
Your notes
Things only your team knows: how you actually do something, a number you're proud of, the mistake customers keep making before they switch to you. Write one under Your notes and the writer works it into the articles it fits.
Keep each note to a sentence or two (up to 600 characters). You can keep up to 40, and edit or delete any of them later.
Questions only you can answer
A blank "write us a note" box rarely gets used; a good question does. Seovyn asks you short questions: some about your business that always apply, and some about the articles coming up next. Answer any you like, and each answer becomes one of your notes.
Writing never waits for an answer. Articles are written either way; a first-hand answer just makes them better.
Why it matters
- Accuracy. The Editor checks product claims against your facts, so an article can't invent a price or a feature you don't have. See Quality score.
- Originality. Articles built only from public pages sound like everyone else's. Your notes are the part a competitor can't copy, and the Editor treats them as first-hand experience rather than unsourced claims.
- Trust. First-hand experience is exactly what search engines look for. See E-E-A-T.
Good notes are
- Concrete: "Setup takes about 12 minutes for most stores" beats "setup is fast".
- Yours: the thing a competitor couldn't say.
- Current: delete a note when it stops being true.
