Publish SEO articles to your Shopify blog automatically
Create a small app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard, paste its client ID and secret, and Seovyn publishes approved articles to your store's blog with the search listing filled in.
Seovyn publishes approved articles to your store's blog and fills in the search listing for each one.
What you need
- A Shopify store with a blog.
- Permission to create an app for the store.
Connect it
- In the Shopify Dev Dashboard, create an app with the
read_contentandwrite_contentscopes. - Install it on your store.
- Copy the app's client ID and client secret from its Settings.
- In Seovyn, open Publishing and choose Shopify. Enter your store address (for example
yourstore.myshopify.com), the client ID and the secret. - Choose how approved articles are delivered.
Live or draft
- Publish live. The article goes live on your store's blog immediately. Approving it in Seovyn is the review.
- Save as hidden. It waits in Shopify, not yet visible, for a final look.
What gets delivered
The article with its title and meta description, the fields your platform supports (tags, excerpt, search listing), and a cover image where one can be made. Seovyn then checks the page is really live and links to it from related articles. See Publishing.
