The cookies and browser storage Seovyn uses, what each is for, and how to change your choice.

The short version
- Cookies that keep you signed in and keep the site working are always on.
- Analytics cookies are off until you press Accept on the banner. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a No without asking.
- We don't use advertising cookies.

Browser storage
The dashboard also keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage, which stay on your device and aren't sent to us: whether the sidebar is collapsed, and your progress through the guided tour and checklist. Short-lived session storage remembers where to take you after you sign in and whether you dismissed the email-confirmation reminder, and is cleared when you close the tab.
Third parties on our pages
- Support chat. The chat button comes from Zealoop. It loads from api.zealoop.com when a page opens, so Zealoop can see your IP address and the page you are on, and it keeps the list of your conversations in your browser so you can come back to them. We treat it as part of providing support, so it doesn't wait for the cookie banner.
- Fonts. The dashboard loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address. It sets no cookies.
- Analytics. Mixpanel, described above, only after you accept.

Changing your choice
The banner asks again about 6 months after you answer. To change your answer sooner, delete the seovyn_consent cookie in your browser's settings, and the banner will come back on your next visit. To remove everything, clear cookies and site data for seovyn.com. Declining stops analytics from then on, and analytics cookies already set can be deleted the same way.
