Publish SEO articles to your own site with a signed webhook

For custom sites: Seovyn sends each approved article to your endpoint as a signed JSON request, and you publish it your way.

If your site isn't built on a platform Seovyn has an integration for, a signed webhook lets you receive each article and publish it your own way: into a database, a static build, or a custom CMS.

What you need

  • An HTTPS endpoint on your site that can receive a POST.

Connect it

  1. In Seovyn, open Publishing and choose Webhook under For developers.
  2. Enter your endpoint, for example https://yoursite.com/api/content-webhook.
  3. Copy the signing secret Seovyn shows once.
  4. In your endpoint, verify the signature, then save or update the page by its slug.

What you receive

A JSON body with the article in Markdown, its title, meta fields, tags, cited sources, a cover image, your author byline, and ready-made structured data (JSON-LD). The request is signed with an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body, so you can be sure it came from Seovyn.

The full payload, the headers, the two events (article.approved and article.updated) and a verification example are in the webhook reference.

What gets delivered

The article with its title and meta description, the fields your platform supports (tags, excerpt, search listing), and a cover image where one can be made. Seovyn then checks the page is really live and links to it from related articles. See Publishing.

If it doesn't work

Check the credentials against the steps above and see Troubleshooting.
