How Seovyn works
The loop behind every article: finding topics, choosing what to write, researching, writing, checking, review, publishing, and learning from Google.
On this page
Seovyn runs a loop. Each step is something a person on an SEO team would do; the difference is that it keeps running, and it shows its working at every step so you can check it.
It finds what's worth writing about
Ideas come from two places. Sources are the competitor sites, subreddits and YouTube channels you watch: Seovyn checks each one about every hour for new discussions and pages. Keyword targets are searches you want to be found for: yours, plus ones Seovyn finds in your Search Console data, in your competitors' best pages and in Google's related searches. See Sources and Keyword targets.
It decides what to write next
Not every idea becomes an article. Before anything is researched, Seovyn checks that the topic would reach your customers, that people actually search for it, and that you don't already have a page competing for the same results. It also keeps a balance of page types, so your blog doesn't turn into a wall of comparisons. See How topics are chosen.
It researches before it writes
Seovyn reads the pages that rank on Google for the search, the Reddit threads where people discuss it, and the vendors' own pages when it compares products. It adds your brand voice and your site knowledge: the facts on your own pages and the notes your team wrote. The research decides the format, the length and whether the article needs an FAQ.
It writes, with sources
The draft is written in your voice, with a title, meta description, slug and tags, a cover image, and structured data for search engines. Long articles are written one section at a time from a researched fact sheet. Links to your own site only point at pages that exist. See How articles are written.
It checks its own work
Every draft gets a quality score out of 100 from two checks: automatic SEO checks (length, headings, the keyword in the right places, meta tags, no near-copy of your other articles) and the Editor, an AI reviewer that reads the article against its sources. Dead links are removed. A draft with real problems gets one revision before you see it. See Quality score.
You review it
The draft waits in your review queue with its score, its research and a preview of how it will look on Google. You approve it, edit it, or reject it with a reason Seovyn learns from. Once it has earned your trust, autopilot can approve high-scoring drafts itself, after a hold you can stop.
It publishes
An approved article goes to the destination you connected, live or as a draft, and can be paced through the day. Seovyn then loads the page's real address to confirm it's live, and tells search engines that support IndexNow. See Publishing.
It learns from Google
With Search Console connected, every article is tracked at 30, 60 and 90 days. Pages close to page one are refreshed, titles that are seen but not clicked are rewritten, sources whose articles earn clicks are checked more often, and articles nobody searches for are flagged for you. See Results and Updates and refreshes.
What runs on its own
Once a source or a target is in place, none of this needs you. The times below are the defaults.
| What | How often |
|---|---|
| Check each source for new ideas | About every hour. More often for sources whose articles earn clicks, less often for ones that don't |
| Plan articles for open keyword targets | Daily |
| Measure keyword targets' search volume | Daily |
| Sync Search Console clicks, impressions and positions | Daily |
| Find new subreddits and YouTube channels for you | Every 3 days, up to 2 at a time, until you have 3 of each |
| Re-read your site's pricing, product and about pages | Weekly |
| Plan topic clusters | Weekly |
| Study competitors' best pages and keyword gaps | Weekly |
| Find searches you appear for without a strong page | Weekly |
| Pick articles to refresh | Weekly, once you have 20 live articles |
| Rewrite search snippets that are seen but rarely clicked | Weekly, with Search Console connected |
| Review live articles for wrong readers, named people and no demand | Weekly |
| Approve drafts whose autopilot hold has ended | Every 10 minutes |
| Check the pipeline's health | Hourly |
Where you stay in control
- You choose the inputs. Sources and keyword targets are yours to add and remove. Seovyn's own suggestions show where they came from.
- You approve every article until autopilot is earned, and you can go back to approving everything with one click.
- Every automatic decision is explained. The activity feed on Overview and the notifications in the top bar say what Seovyn did and why: an article approved by autopilot, a refresh ready, internal links added, a pause.
- It stops itself when something is wrong. If articles keep failing to write, drafts pile up unreviewed, or deliveries keep failing, new writing pauses until the cause is fixed, and the activity feed on Overview says why. See Autopilot.
- Your plan caps how much it writes. See Plans and usage.
