Cleanup review
Seovyn checks your live articles every week for ones that draw the wrong readers, name a real person, or that nobody searches for, and lets you keep, hide or remove each one.
On this page
The checks that decide what gets written are newer than some of your articles, and some topics only show their problems after publishing. So once a week, Seovyn looks back over your live articles and flags the ones worth a second look. Seovyn no longer writes these kinds of article on its own; cleanup is for the ones already out there.
Find it on Results, under Cleanup. Review now runs the check immediately.
What gets flagged
| Flag | When |
|---|---|
| Names a person | The article is about a real, named person. Check it's accurate and that they'd be fine with it, or take it down |
| Wrong readers | The people it draws aren't your customers: its topic fit is below 50. See How topics are chosen |
| No searches | It targets a search measured at zero a month, and Google hasn't shown it once in the 60 days since it went live |
Each flagged article says why, in a sentence.
What you can do
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Keep | The flag is cleared and the article stays as it is |
| Hide from Google | The article stays on your site, but search engines are told not to index it, and it leaves your sitemap and feed. Seovyn-hosted sites only |
| Take it down | The article is removed from your site. Seovyn-hosted sites only |
| I've removed it | On any other platform, remove the article there yourself, then mark it here. It leaves Results and no longer counts in your mix of articles |
Seovyn changes a live page itself only on a Seovyn-hosted site. Everywhere else, your platform is in charge of what's published, so the removal is yours to make.
