What is SEO?
SEO is the practice of making a website easier for search engines to find and understand, and more useful to the people searching, so it earns more unpaid traffic.
SEO stands for search engine optimization. It covers everything that helps a page show up for the searches it should answer: what the page says, how it is structured, how fast it loads, and how other sites refer to it.
The three parts
- Content. Pages that answer what people are actually searching for. See search intent.
- Technical. A site that search engines can crawl, understand and index. See indexing and Core Web Vitals.
- Authority. Signals that others trust the site, mainly backlinks and demonstrated expertise (E-E-A-T).
Why it matters
Search is often the cheapest steady source of visitors, because each article keeps working after it is published. It is also slow: results usually take weeks or months, so consistency matters more than any single trick.
Where Seovyn fits
Seovyn handles the content part of the loop: it researches topics, writes articles, checks them, and publishes them to your site, then uses Search Console data to decide what to write next.
Related
- Search intentSearch intent is the reason behind a search: what the person wants to find, learn or do. Matching it is the biggest factor in whether a page can rank.
- Keyword researchKeyword research is finding the search terms your audience uses, and judging which are worth writing a page for.
- Topical authorityTopical authority is how thoroughly a site covers a subject. Search engines tend to trust sites that cover a topic in depth over sites that touch it once.
