Switch to Seovyn

Using Seovyn alongside Semrush

Semrush is an all-in-one SEO suite; Seovyn writes and publishes the articles. How the two work together, and what to set up first.

Updated

Semrush is a broad SEO suite: keyword research, site audits, rank tracking and more. Seovyn isn't a replacement for all of that. It's the part that turns keywords into published articles. Many teams keep their suite for research and tracking and add Seovyn for execution.

What carries over

If you want to consolidate

If you're mainly paying for a suite to find topics and then writing the articles by hand, Seovyn can take over both steps for article content. Keep the parts you use for audits and rank tracking.

Set Seovyn up in about an hour

  1. Create your account and paste your website. Seovyn reads your site and proposes your niche, competitors, subreddits and YouTube channels. See Get started.
  2. Add your sources. Keep the ones that fit, and add the competitors and communities you already follow. See Sources.
  3. Bring over your keywords. Add the keyword list you already have as keyword targets, with the page type for each.
  4. Bring over your brand guidelines. Put your tone, audience, banned phrases and call to action into brand voice, and your product facts into site knowledge.
  5. Connect where you publish. See Publishing, or pick your platform: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost and more.
  6. Connect Search Console so Seovyn can see what's already working. See Search Console.
  7. Review your first drafts. Everything waits for your approval until you decide otherwise. See Review and approve.

Run both for a few weeks

You don't have to switch overnight. Keep your current tool for what you rely on it for, let Seovyn draft in parallel, and compare. Seovyn starts in supervised mode, so nothing publishes without your approval.

Your published content is unaffected

Your articles live on your site, not in either tool. Switching changes how new content gets made and published, not what's already live. Seovyn reads your existing pages so it links to them and doesn't repeat them.

Semrush is a trademark of its owner. Seovyn isn't affiliated with or endorsed by it.
