# Review and approve

> Where drafts wait, everything the review drawer shows you, and what approving, editing, rejecting, holding and retrying each do.

Every draft waits for a decision. In supervised mode, that decision is always yours; once [autopilot](/docs/autopilot) is on, high-scoring drafts can decide for themselves after a hold you can stop.

## Where drafts wait

The **review queue** on **Overview** lists what's waiting on you, in three tabs:

- **To review:** drafts ready for a decision, each with its quality score.
- **Writing:** articles being researched and written right now.
- **Needs attention:** drafts that couldn't be written, each with the reason and a **Retry** button. The tab only appears when there's something in it.

Search by title, or filter by type: blog articles, comparisons or landing pages. The **Library** keeps every article Seovyn has written, whatever happened to it, so nothing ever disappears. Filter it by **All**, **Live**, **In review** or **Rejected**.

## The review drawer

Open a draft to read it in the review drawer. Top to bottom:

| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| **Title and keyword** | The article's title (editable) and the search it's built to rank for |
| **Quality** | The score, its label (strong, good with notes, needs work), the Editor's and the SEO checks' parts, the five judgments, and the Editor's notes. See [Quality score](/docs/quality-score) |
| **On autopilot** | While you're in supervised mode: whether autopilot would have published this draft by itself, or why it would have waited for you. See [Autopilot](/docs/autopilot#see-it-before-it-runs) |
| **SEO checks** | Where the focus keyword appears (title, first 100 words, a heading, meta title and description) and how often, the length against what the ranking pages run to, the terms those pages cover, and every check the draft fails |
| **Search preview** | How the article will look on Google, with the meta title and description and a character count for each |
| **Search performance** | For live articles: clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position over the last 28 days, from Search Console |
| **Research** | The brief: what Google shows for the search, the intent, the format, the length and whether it needs an FAQ |
| **Article body** | The article as it will be published |
| **Sources** | The pages the writer drew on, to check where a claim came from |

The first time you open a draft, Seovyn offers a 20-second tour of the drawer.

## Approve

**Approve** sends the article to your destination: live or as a draft there, as you set it up. If you pace publishing, it joins the **publishing queue** on Overview and goes out in turn. See [Publishing](/docs/publishing).

Each approval of an unedited draft counts toward [autopilot](/docs/autopilot).

## Rewrite one section

Hover over any section of a draft and choose **Rewrite**. Say what should change, in your own words ("mention the free tier", "cut the second paragraph") or with a one-click suggestion: shorter, more detail, a concrete example, simpler words, the focus keyword worked in, or a list. Seovyn rewrites that section only, in the article's voice and keeping its facts, and shows it beside the original. **Keep this** saves it; **Try again** asks once more; **Discard** leaves the section as it was. Each rewrite uses one from your plan's monthly number: 20 on Free, 200 on Pro, 600 on Scale. See [Plans and usage](/docs/plans-and-usage).

## Edit

**Edit** opens the title, the body (in Markdown), and the meta title and description. **Save edits** keeps your changes. The **SEO checks** card updates as you type, so you see the keyword count, the length and the failing checks change with each edit.

> [!NOTE]
> Edited drafts, including a kept section rewrite, lose their quality score, so they don't count toward autopilot. Fix what's worth fixing; for a pattern you keep fixing, a rejection with a reason (or a change to [brand voice](/docs/brand-voice)) teaches Seovyn more.

## Reject, and say why

**Reject** asks what's wrong with it:

| Reason | Use it when |
|---|---|
| **Inaccurate** | A claim is wrong or unsupported |
| **Off-brand** | The voice or positioning doesn't sound like you |
| **Thin** | It lacks depth or specifics |
| **Duplicate** | It overlaps something you already have |
| **Off-topic** | It isn't something you want to be known for |
| **Bad SEO** | The structure or targeting is wrong |
| **Other** | Anything else |

Add a note if the reason needs one. Rejected articles stay in the Library, and Seovyn learns from them: a source whose drafts you often reject is checked less, for example. A rejection also starts the autopilot count again, and on autopilot it puts you back in supervised mode.

## Hold

On autopilot, a draft that will approve itself is marked **Scheduled**, with the time it auto-approves. **Hold** stops that one draft without leaving autopilot: it waits for you like any other, marked **On hold**. A draft autopilot won't approve says why, for example "quality score 72 below the 75 bar".

## Retry

A draft that couldn't be written shows why under **Needs attention**: for example, that the topic isn't for your customers, or that it would be about a real person. **Retry** writes it anyway. A draft that fails gives its article back to your allowance; a retry uses one again.

## Tips

- **Check the Research card for anything surprising,** especially numbers and quotes, and the Sources list for where they came from.
- **Reject with a reason rather than silently fixing,** so the same problem doesn't come back.
- **Use your first reviews to tune brand voice.** Most "off-brand" drafts trace back to one vague field.
- **Review often.** If a dozen drafts sit for more than ten days, Seovyn pauses new writing until you catch up, so you're never buried.
