# Plans and usage

> What each plan includes, how articles and the Browser Agent budget are counted, when they reset, what happens at the limit, and how upgrading, billing and cancelling work.

Each [organization](/docs/organizations) has its own plan. See yours, what you've used and when it resets on **Plan & usage**, from the plan in the top bar or your account menu.

## The plans

Every plan includes every source, every publishing integration, quality scoring, the SEO checks and Search Console results. Free is the whole workflow with you approving every article; paid plans add the parts that run without you, and more of everything.

> [!NOTE] Already on autopilot on Free?
> Autopilot became a Pro and Scale feature on 3 October 2026. A Free organization that was already on autopilot then keeps it until 3 November 2026, and Overview says so. After that it goes back to supervised, and it switches on again the moment you upgrade.

Prices are in US dollars. They're always on our [pricing page](/#pricing) and on Plan & usage; if they ever differ, Plan & usage is the one that applies to you. For larger or custom arrangements, write to hello@seovyn.com.

## How usage is counted

**Articles.** Each draft Seovyn starts writing uses one article, whether it came from a source, a keyword target or your own request. If a draft fails to write, you get it back. Updates to published articles (refreshes and new search snippets) don't use any.

**Section rewrites.** Each section Seovyn rewrites to your instruction in the review drawer uses one. A rewrite that fails is given back. At the limit, the drawer says so; you can still edit the article yourself.

**Browser Agent.** Before each model call, Pilot sets aside an estimate from the budget, and settles the real cost when the call returns. A task pauses before it would go over the budget, so there are no overage charges.

Plan & usage shows both meters, the drafts started each day this period, what each Browser Agent task cost, and a history of earlier periods.

## When it resets

- **Paid plans** reset with your subscription, on its renewal date.
- **Free** resets on the first of each month (UTC).

## At the limit

When the month's articles are used, Seovyn stops starting new drafts until the reset, and Plan & usage shows when new drafts resume. Drafts already in your queue are unaffected: you can still approve and publish them. A custom article asked for at the limit is refused with a message. To keep going, upgrade.

When the Browser Agent budget is used, tasks pause until it resets.

## Upgrade, change or cancel

Payments are handled by **Dodo Payments**, our merchant of record: it charges you, collects any tax and issues the invoices. Seovyn never sees your card.

- **Upgrade** from Plan & usage, under **Plans**. The new allowance applies straight away.
- **Change plan, update your card, download invoices or cancel** from **Open billing portal**.
- **Cancel** any time. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the organization moves to Free. Your articles and settings stay.
- **Refunds** follow our [Refund Policy](/refunds).

## If a payment fails

If a renewal doesn't go through, Plan & usage says so, and the organization is on Free limits until the payment method is updated. Nothing is deleted. Choose **Update payment method** to fix it, and you'll get an email too.
