# Organizations

> One organization per website, each with its own sources, articles, publishing and plan. Creating one, switching between them, and the limits.

An **organization** is one website and everything that belongs to it: its sources, keyword targets, articles, brand voice, publishing settings, autopilot progress and plan. Nothing is shared between organizations, so a second site never borrows the first one's voice or sources.

Your first organization is made on the welcome screen when you tell Seovyn which site to write for.

## Switch organizations

The **organization switcher** at the foot of the sidebar shows the website you're working on. Choose it to see all your organizations, each with its plan, and switch to another. With many organizations, **Find an organization** searches them.

Everything in the dashboard (the review queue, Library, Results, Sources, Publishing) is for the organization you're in.

## Create another

In the switcher, choose **For another website**, then give it a name and the website's address and choose **Create organization**. Seovyn reads the site straight away and sets up its first topics, brand voice and site knowledge, just as it did for your first one.

Each new organization starts on the Free plan, in supervised mode.

## Limits

| Limit | Why |
|---|---|
| **Up to 20 organizations** per person | Write to support@seovyn.com if you need more |
| **Up to 2 on the Free plan** | Each Free organization gets its own monthly articles, so a new organization can't be a way round the Free allowance. Upgrade one to add another |
| **A confirmed email** for a second organization | So every organization can be recovered. See [Your account](/docs/account) |

When you reach a limit, the switcher says so instead of offering the form.

## Plans are per organization

Each organization has its own plan, allowance and billing. Upgrading one doesn't change the others. The plan in the top bar, and **Plan & usage**, are always for the organization you're in. See [Plans and usage](/docs/plans-and-usage).
